Die Wiltener Sängerknaben sind ein Knabenchor aus Innsbruck. Sie gelten als einer der traditionsreichsten und renommiertesten Knabenchöre Europas.

Die Geschichte der Wiltener Sängerknaben reicht zurück bis ins 13. Jahrhundert. So bestand bereits im Jahr 1235 eine Stiftsschule in Wilten, an der junge Knaben unterrichtet wurden. Für die Teilnahme am Chor- und Kirchengesang erhielten sie freie Kost, Kleidung und ein kleines Taschengeld.[1][2] Die Vorläufer der Wiener Sängerknaben wurden nach Berichten von namhaften Historikern von Kaiser Maximilian I. mit Singknaben aus Wilten gegründet. Die Tradition der Wiltener wurde während all dieser Jahrhunderte nur manchmal durch Kriegswirrnisse unterbrochen, so zum Beispiel auch während des Zweiten Weltkrieges. Nach demselben begründeten Norbert Gerhold aus Langenlois und der Wiltener Chorherr Otto Karasek OPraem den Chor neu.

Gerhold leitete den Chor bis 1982 und konnte auf zahlreiche gelungene Aufnahmen und große Tourneen u. a. nach Dänemark, Israel und Japan verweisen. 1983 übernahm der Innsbrucker Armin Kölbl die künstlerische Leitung, ihm folgte 1986 Howard Arman aus London. Dieser gründete 1991 mit Chormitgliedern der Wiltener Sängerknaben die Innsbrucker Capellknaben. Johannes Stecher übernahm damals die Leitung der Wiltener Sängerknaben.

🌼 Երբ քամին ցիրուցան է անում ընդամենը մեկ խատուտիկի փոքրիկ սերմերը, հարյուրավոր այլ խատուտիկներ են ծաղկում։ Առաջին հայացքից այս փխրուն ծաղիկը շատ ավելի ուժեղ է, քան բոլորիս թվում է։ Ընկնելով հողի մեջ՝ խատուտիկի փոքրիկ սերմերը ճեղքում են ամենակարծր հողային շերտերը՝ խորհրդանշելով ուժ, տոկունություն և լավատեսություն։ 

COVID-19 համավարակի և Արցախյան պատերազմի պատճառով հազարավոր երեխաներ զրկվել են որակյալ և մատչելի կրթություն ստանալու հնարավորությունից։

Մեր երեխաների երազանքները մենք նմանեցնում ենք խատուտիկի սերմերին։ «Դասավանդի՛ր,  Հայաստան»-ը այն քամին է, որը տարածում է նրանց երազանքի սերմերը և հավասար կրթական հնարավորությունների միջոցով խթանում դրանց իրականացմանը։

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the Artsakh war, thousands of children were deprived of the chance to receive a good quality education.  

The dreams of our children are like the seeds of dandelions. Teach For Armenia is the wind that spreads the seeds of our children’s dreams and contributes to their realization through equal education.

Antonio is an Australian school boy who loves to sing and perform.

He also plays piano, violin, drum kit and tuned percussion.

Antonio loves classical music. He likes to sing in languages other than English and has sung solo in Italian, Latin, French, German, Hebrew, Spanish, Welsh and Korean.

He predominantly sings classical songs, but also likes Folk, and the occasional Musical Theatre or Popera piece. Currently he is working on developing techniques for singing contemporary songs.
